Dr Sadeeka Williams BIO

Dr Sadeeka Williams was born and schooled in Cape Town before starting her medical training in 1999. She graduated from UCT in 2004 and did her internship in KZN. She returned to Cape Town in 2006, when her love for paediatrics started while working at the newborn unit at Mowbray Maternity Hospital.

From 2007 to 2012, Dr Williams explored her passion and love for children by working in various communities locally and abroad. She started her specialist training at George Hospital in 2013 and completed it at Red Cross in 2017. She went on to work at the neurodevelopment clinic at Tygerberg hospital from 2017 to 2019.

She worked in Khayelitsha, Cape Town from 2019 to 2021, gaining a unique perspective of children’s health needs at grassroots level.

When her son was admitted at the age of 2 months to ICU in 2021, Dr Williams experienced first-hand what it was like to be the parent of a sick child and this had a profound influence on her. In 2022, Dr Williams entered the private locum sector, gaining experience at different facilities including Mitchell’s Plain, Chris Barnard and Constantiaberg.

In May 2022, Dr Williams opened rooms at the renowned Atlantic Children’s Practice. The ACP team, consisting of paediatricians, an occupational therapist, nurse, speech therapist and dietician, all specialised in child care was the home Dr Williams was looking for. With nearly 20 years of medical experience, Dr Williams is able to offer care for all your paediatric needs, seeing children from infancy to adulthood.
